About Me

I’m a Data Analyst at D.Luxury Brands on the BI & Analytics Team, where I play a multifaceted role in driving our agency's internal data processes and executable insights to our e-commerce clients. Working with data spanning across 23+ brands ranging from startups looking to scale to market-leading companies, I deliver data-driven solutions. This includes developing regression models of channel ad spend impact on sales, building strategy audit decks for clients, supporting automated reporting and dashboards for customer LTV analysis and paid media performance, and orchestrating ETL processes for platform data, such as Shopify, Google Analytics 4, Meta Ads, and more.

As a former Data Scientist Fellow for Appfolio, Inc. I built machine learning models to detect anomalous transactions in the Property Management software, leveraging unsupervised learning techniques over transaction history data. With property managers using the cloud software for accounting (invoices, bills, checks, etc.), our project aimed to implement automated anomaly detection features to enable early intervention and risk mitigation measures.

My background includes a Statistics & Data Science B.S. with an Applied Psychology minor and Technology Management certification from UC Santa Barbara. During my time at UCSB, I held leadership for 3 years as the Director of Finance and prior to that as a Finance Officer, for the Data Science UCSB club, where we empowered members to develop strong fundamentals in data science through advanced learning pipelines, career related events, and a project-based environment.

D. LUXURY BRANDS — Culver City, CA

Data Analyst ( October 2023 - Present )

Developed linear regression models in Python to analyze the impact of ad spend across various channels, such as Google Ads and Meta Ads, on client Web and Amazon sales to identify significant channel campaign types for strategic recommendations

Wrote SQL queries for integration of client custom Order Management System (OMS) data, conducting extensive data cleaning and manipulation processes of sales, product, and customer data to support reporting and analytics use cases

Built data-driven audit decks for +23 e-commerce brands, including high-grossing brands like NEST Fragrance and Good American, encompassing analysis of revenue health, customer LTV, product performance, and paid media performance

Implemented custom automated query for analysis of core product lines to enhance existing reporting and streamline evaluation of key metrics of sales performance and advertising effectiveness

Designed and implemented data models for attribution platforms like Triple Whale and affiliate platforms like UpPromote to support automated pipeline for paid media performance reports and Looker/Tableau dashboards

Data Scientist Fellow ( January 2023 - June 2023 )

Built outlier detection models in Python using unsupervised learning models including Isolation Forest, Local Outlier Factor, and Support Vector Machine to identify anomalous financial transactions from the Appfolio Property Manager software.

Achieved precision of 75%, recall of 73%, and accuracy of 74% in detecting outliers through data cleaning, normalization, feature engineering, and hyperparameter tuning on 500,000+ clients' transaction data.

Developed scripts for artificial outlier injection into unlabeled dataset to assess model performance through generating IQR-defined values and groupings
